Vermont Ranked the Safest State in the US

With frequent news of terror or natural disaster,we all want to feel as safe as we possibly can. According to a recent study by wallethub.com, Vermont is the safest State to live in 2017. Maine came in at #2, New Hampshire at #5, and, as a whole, the Northeast is considered safe overall based on this study.

Home and Community Safety

The analysts compared the 50 states with these categories. The note that their “data set ranges from assaults per capita to unemployment rate to total loss amounts from climate disasters per capita.”
