"I am writing to thank you for your professional and courteous service following an ice dam in my home last year. I am very happy with the work you did and will remember you when I am ready to have my roof done. All of your people who came to my home were very pleasant and helpful. The damage and the displacement I felt during that time was anxiety provoking. It meant a lot to me that the actual repairs and working with a contractor did not have to be. Again, thank you so much for all your help."

About Us
National:
G.W. Savage Donates Time and Expertise to ABC's "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition."
G.W. Savage Corp. recently helped a deserving family. ABC's "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" selected the Ray-Smith family to receive a new home. The premise of the show is that they tear down a family's old house and build them a new one in just seven days. The problem this time was, it rained so hard during the first two days of construction that they had to stop building. The concrete was not fully cured, and the framing and other building materials were soaked. G.W. Savage was asked to help, and immediately responded. The wet weather and the +80% relative humidity at this oceanfront location increased the difficulty of already having such a short time frame. Despite these challenges, G.W.Savage got back on schedule, and the family was moved in on time.
The use of infrared cameras and advanced moisture meters ensured that the drying was uniform and complete. These tools enabled the discovery of several plumbing leaks inside the walls before they turned into extensive damage. David Bohler, senior project manager for the show, has asked G.W. Savage to participate in other show projects each time they return to the New England area.
